लोग सुधारें बाग बगीचे

मेंडक पैदा होते

जंगली चूहे दौड़े

हिम खण्ड पिंघले

गिलहरी लगी खेलने

बछेरे हिनहिनाने लगे

मेमने मिमियाए

सुन्दर फूल खिले

हवा बारिश मिले

बाग में फूल महकने लगे

डाली पर पक्षी चह्कने लगे

कपड़े शीघ्र शूख जाएँ

तितलियों ने पर दिखाए

मधु मक्खी भिन-भिनाई

देखो वसंत-बहार आई !

ਲੋਕ ਬਗੀਚੀ ਸੁਆਰਦੇ

ਡੱਡੂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ

ਜੰਗਲੀ ਚੂਹੇ ਭੱਜਦੇ

ਬਰਫ ਦੇ ਤੋਦੇ ਟੁੱਟਦੇ

ਖੇਡਣ ਕਾਟੋ ਲੱਗੀ

ਵਛੇਰੇ ਹਿਣਕਦੇ

ਲੇਲੇ ਮਿਮਿਆਉਂਦੇ

ਸੋਹਣੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਖਿੜੇ

ਹਵਾ -ਮੀਂਹ ਮਿਲੇ

ਬਾਗੀਂ ਫੁੱਲ ਮਹਿਕਣ

ਡਾਲੀ ਪੰਛੀ ਚਹਿਕਣ

ਕੱਪੜੇ ਝੱਟ ਸੁਕਾਏ

ਤਿੱਤਲੀਆਂ  ਪਰ ਵਿਖਾਏ

ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਦੀ ਮੱਖੀ ਭਿੰਨ -ਭਿੰਨਾਈ

ਵੇਖੋ ਬਸੰਤ -ਬਹਾਰ ਆਈ !

Today is Supreet's Birthday

Today is 2 March 2011....it's a very special day for Supreet.
 It's her Birthday. She is turning 12 today.
What a great pleasure it is again to wish her a very happy birthday!
She is getting a very special gift........
Her first published Poetry Book ...." The sky is limitless"

Tears of joy  welled  in her eyes when Supreet  got this book in her hands this morning.

About the book:

For Supreet's  school assignment - a Personal Interest Project - students of grade 6 have to choose any thing of their personal interest. Supreet had chosen to write poems. She wrote about 50 short & long poems and haikus altogether. Her poems are about the nature, season, pollution, human relations and few poems are based on her imagination.
This book is published in 2011 by selecting 26 poems . This book is in three languages- English, Punjabi and Hindi. The poems are written in English and translated in Hindi and Punjabi by me (Hardeep Sandhu ). The book has been  published with the assistance of Rameshwar Kamboj Himanshu - editor, Laghukatha.com and Hindi Haiku.

लेखिका  के बारे  में जानकारी...

सुप्रीत का जन्म पंजाब के बरनाला जिले में २ मार्च १९९९ को हुआ ! जब वह  चार वर्ष की थी ,तब सिडनी आ गई !उस समय  वह के जी में पढ़ती थी! अब सुप्रीत सातवीं कक्षा की छात्रा है!

सुप्रीत ने घर में ही पंजाबी व हिन्दी भाषा पढ़नी  सीखी !बच्चों की हाइकु पुस्तक ' हरे-हरे तारे ' ने सुप्रीत को बहुत प्रभावित किया !मम्मा ने उस की लेखनी को तराशा !पापा ने हलाशेरी दी !बडे भइया ने बहुत बढ़िया कहकर उत्साह बढ़ाया!

आज जब सुप्रीत को मैने यह पुस्तक दी ....उस की आँखों में
खुशी के आँसू छलक पडे !
